Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
The insurances I accept at this time include:
- Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of KC
- Magellan EAP
If your insurance provider is not listed above, your insurance may have out-of-network benefits. This means that the out of pocket cost may be a little higher to you. If you choose to use out-of-network benefits, full payment for each session is required until the first reimbursement from your insurance is received. Once your insurance company begins making payments, overpayment will be reimbursed to you.
Payment is expected at the time of your appointment.
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. If you fail to attend your intake consultation, you will be referred to a different therapist or counseling center.
If you request a report be written on your behalf, you will be charged the hourly rate for this service.
